Yixi Zhang’s journey from China to the United States in 2012 marked the beginning of a lifelong dedication to education and child development. As an only child, Yixi shares a close bond with her family, whose love and support have shaped her optimistic outlook on life. Her childhood, filled with the joyful presence of her parents and grandparents, fostered a deep appreciation for family values and the importance of nurturing relationships.
Yixi holds a bachelor’s degree in Business English and has over fourteen years of experience in teaching and child care, specializing in supporting children with diverse learning needs. Her passion for education inspired her to further her expertise in the field, and she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Special Education at Marymount University. This continuous learning journey allows Yixi to stay at the forefront of educational best practices and enrich her approach to creating engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environments.
Through her experiences, Yixi has recognized the importance of bridging cultural gaps in understanding special education. She believes that Magic Puzzles can be a place where everyone—parents, educators, and students—can find the resources, guidance, and support they need to thrive.
